Germany has a fast-growing hospitality industry. Tourism is expected to grow even further in the future due to the increasing number of travellers arriving. The country is also experiencing a growth in domestic tourism. Compared to the same period in 2018, overnight stays by Germans within their home country increased by 4% in the first half of 2019.The number of business and leisure trips in Germany are both on the rise. Features of Vocational Training in Hospitality with Genrise

Germany is a far off place for Indian students mostly a dream. People have ambitions to pursue a career there but there is lack of a proper road map that can help them reach their goals. After the completion of the vocational training, they are sent to Germany to pursue their career in the hospitality industry, get a proper training and get placed there.

  • The vocational training includes a paid training along with an internship opportunity with stipend of 800 Euros (72000 rupees)
  • After the training one becomes eligible to attain German nationality and become a citizen of Germany.
  • A vocational certificate shall be equivalent to any degree course in India and Germany for those who were a part of this training program.
  • The entire cost of the training will be sponsored by the Government of Germany.

Selection Process

The vocational training process includes a number of steps. The steps are not very rigorous but they are extremely important to filter out the best and talented candidates and help them to reach their goal of working in the hospitality industry in Germany.

  • Eligibility Test

The interview process involves screening, document verification, and CV creation.

As part of the preparation for the work placement, candidates will be subjected to a medical eligibility check. Initially, we will screen the candidate in Germany according to the profile requirements, and then we will verify the candidate’s documents (education & experience).

An appropriate CV is created once a candidate is identified as suitable for the foreign company.

  • Preliminary Interviews

Preliminary interviews will be conducted by our German agency. After being selected in the interview they will be issued a conditional letter for admission to German schools. We will schedule preliminaries with our German recruiters after we share CVs. Our team will train candidates before the interviews. Letters of conditional offer and employment guarantee will be sent to selected candidates. An applicant must complete enrolment and sign a contract with Genrise. Once the agreement for the program is signed, conditional offer letters will be shared.

  • German Language training

According to the conditional letter, those selected/shortlisted must complete six months of language and cultural training in German. They are expected to pass the Goethe B1 level examination. The candidate will be required to take the Goethe B1 level examination after completing the course

  • Document and Visa Process

For a scheduled departure, a candidate must apply for a visa. The candidates shall receive their full training contract once they have achieved the Goethe B1 level certification, and once signed, the visa application process shall begin. Once all required documents are submitted, the visa application process shall begin.

  • B2 German Language Training

Under the guidance of German training schools, or the institute approved by the German training school, candidates must be undergoing B2 level language training.

Visa application processes are not affected by B2 level training.

  • Start Training in Germany

Our German partner will receive the candidates at the German airport and assist them with their initial settlement in Germany.

  • Registration fees before application (Refundable if the candidate disqualifies)
  • Fees associated with German language training and document preparation (After receiving admission letter from the training center)
  • B1 Exam cost at Delhi (To be paid directly to Goethe Institute
  • After passing B1 level, there will be one-time administrative fees (For B2 language training, Visa assistance, one-way air ticket, travel insurance, training centre charges, and other administrative charges)
  • Loan facility available on EMI Basis to pay One-Time administrative fees if required (T&C apply)
  • Full-time language instruction is provided. If boarding and housing are necessary during the training duration in India, there will be an additional charge.
